My precious one,

What a beautiful Shepherd we have. He will always find us in the midst of our storms and bring us out with joy in our hearts and then we find Him. Walking in newness of life is not for half-hearted, but resting in the very arms of Him and letting Him take us with those steps He has ordered. When HE commands us to do something, He is there to perform what He has commanded. If it is to ask us to cast all our cares on Him, He will give me the strength to do this and let me walk in the evidence of this that He is my strength. I have been having various trials and when I heard what He said in James "Count it all joy when you encounter various trials KNOWING the testing of your faith produces endurance and when endurance has it s work you will be perfect lacking nothing. I said, Father let me walk in this new life, renewing my mind and being transformed and count it all joy. Then the trial got heated up and I remembered what He said in Peter - "Do not take this firey ordeal as something strange but to the degree you are tested you will see a revelation of Jesus Christ and the outcome will be the salvation of your soul." Again, I said, Father let me walk in this newness, let the mind of Christ be in me. Clothe me in Him and let me apprehend that for which I have been apprehended. The God of hope fills me with joy and peace in believing that I may dwell in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. The works of Christ are the works I am to believe in and thanks be to God these are eternal. I think on these works and my heart is filled with hope and confidence. My battles and trials drive me to my rest in Him. Christ learned obedience through what He suffered and He said, all disobedience will be destroyed as obedience is made complete.

We have these finished works, there are no more to be offered, may we trust our Shephed to lead us into the love of Christ and be found in HIm not having a righteousness derived from the law, but by faith, hearing and responding to this great God and Saviour.

Now to HIm who is able to do exceedingly abundantly to what we could ever expect or imagine according to the power that works in us mightly be glory, honor and praise forevermore.

Sowing seed with you and waiting for the harvest of rightousness.

Grace to you,
Judie

Thank you Angie for this post. I love the music of Brooke Fraser - and certainly this one is a favorite.

I too long for that singular vision...

Dwelling is the key isn't it.

Thank you for the reminder.

Praying for you, your family, and your astronaut.
