Tonight I've come to conclusion that God 's power and glory is beyond my comprehension. It's not that I'm giving up trying to understand trying to understand; it's just that I am not fully capable of understand it.

As I was working in anatomy lab today, I was overcome with awe that God formed human beings out of the dust of the earth. He did that! We were created us in His image. What a beautiful and amazing thing the human body is!

I love the song by Third Day entitled "You are Mine." Sometimes I wonder why chose to Call me His child (the song goes). Why did God choose ME to be his bride...why does he chooses any of us? With all our filth and failures, how is it that God still shows mercy on His people? But then the lyrics reminds me that it is remember that it was nothing that I did or can ever do that deserves eternal life...it is ONLY by Jesus' Sacrifice that I am His and He is mine!

You Are Mine (by Third Day)

It doesn't take much
For my heart to break
And you have done it
For what seems
The millionth time

Whenever I hear
Of your saving grace
And how you gave your life
In exchange for mine

Chorus:
Sometimes I wonder why
You even love me
And why you ever
Chose to call me child
Then I remember
It's by your sacrifice
I can say that
I am your's
And you are mine

It doesn't take much
For me to shed a tear
And you have done
So many things
To make me cry
Whenever I think
Of all that I've
Done wrong
And everything
That you have done
To make it right

It doesn't take much
For my heart to break
And you have done it
For what seems
The millionth time

Seeing my Savior's glory at the foot of the cross today. I treasure this song sung by Kathryn Thomas (She sang that gorgeous "What a Friend" remix on the CD I gave you.) I am praying for grace to lay EVERY burden down.

At the foot of the cross
Where grace and suffering meet
You have shown me Your love
Through the judgment You received

And You've won my heart
Yes You've won my heart
Now I can

Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross

At the foot of the cross
Where I am made complete
You have given me life
Through the death You bore for me

I'm laying every burden down
I'm laying every burden down
