I am thankful for Bible School this week and for all of the people ministering to my children there! I am thankful for three year old Chloe in her room at bedtime listening to her Bible school songs and being up out of bed doing the "commotions"(her word) that go along with each song (when she doesn't think anyone can see her). I, too, thought about the sweetness of child-like faith as I watched her from the hall last night as she danced and sang. How it ministered to my heart to see her joyfully worshipping. I feel blessed to have "everything I need and so much more."

What a great comparasion! To never forget to be thankful and always remember what great things God has taught us. I just love walking into the sanctuary early to pick up the kids and watch them praise the Lord together and lift up their hands to him. I love even more as these words sink in their heart and hearing them reflect on it.

I love the songs my children have been singing at Bible school this week as well! Even little Riley claps his hands and says "Dig, Dig, Dig!" Our theme is Dino Detectives, Digging for Truths in the Word of God! Oh, how we all need to do more of that!

I am diig, dig, digging
For the truth, truth, truth, truth
In the Word, Word, Word, of God

Repeat

He created in just six days
Everything that will give Him praise
I am dig, dig, digging for the truth in the Word of God!

Thank you for speaking to us through Your Word!

I am thankful for the Bible study group I have found here in Philly. Tonight we were talking about how God is the God of the living and not of dead and all [believers] live TO HIM- to enjoy and be in community with Him. And one day how that community will be ETERNAL and we will be like the angels-immortal and finally able to live in COMPLETE COMMUNITY with our Lord and Savior. I prayed this prayer tonight...I think it's SUCH an encouraging prayer:

Romans 8:18-25
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience."
