Bone Scan Results

Sep 28th, 2007 by brian | 4

Just a quick note- the results of Angie’s bone scan last week came back clear as well. With all of that behind now, on to Chemo… We still expect she’ll start on Thursday, but given the amount of pain she is still in from the surgery I don’t know. The doc said he doesn’t want to start treatment until she’s recovered.

    Dearest Angie,

I hope you are having a WONDERFUL birthday! I am SO THANKFUL for the clear bone scan. As I was praying for you this morning, I was thanking the Lord for this birthday, in particular, and reminded of all He has done on Your behalf. I am so thankful for His protection of every bone in your body and for His mercies in containing the cancer to eight lymph nodes. As you trust Him for this new year of your life, I pray that You will continue to see how He adores, delights, and loves you. I love you ( and so does Dale :) ) and can’t wait to see you and hug you…

    Love you!
    Beth

Thank you Sweet Jesus for Angie’s clear bone scan! Praying that her pain from surgery will deminish and recovery be far enough along so that the next steps of this long journey…chemo, may begin. The sooner it can begin, the closer the end of her treatments will come. I so vaguely know Angie, but from this wonderful site I have come to realize she is a loving caring wife, mom and friend. Her soul runs deep and her spirit is sweet. Please Lord Jesus, continue to pour your blessings, grace and mercy on this family.
Loving you in His Name, Jan Kok

    Angie,
I know of your “saga” through my sister, Susan Aleshire, who is a friend of Karen Dove. I was directed to your website because I too have been diagnosed with breast cancer. You and your family are an inspiration to me and I am praying for you as you enter into the chemo phase of your treatment. I finished my chemo this past April. I had the most aggressrive kind of cancer, grade 3, and the chemo was intense, but I made it through as you will also. Your pictures are beautiful and your updates are an encouragement to me as I go through some difficult days. May God bless you and keep you close in his arms.
