October 2004
–Micah raised his arms for “so big” when I asked him, “How big is Micah?”
–Said “da-da-da-da-da” and started gurgling his “g’s” both on the same day.

September 2004
–With pulling up comes perils. First fall and scratch and bruise on his face.
–Did Micah wave bye-bye? Not sure.
–First time at the beach playing in the sand and water.
–Micah gave Daddy “five” for the first time.
–Tooth number 3 finally broke through.
–Micah drank water from a sippy cup.

August 2004
–First trip to St. Louis.
–Micah cut his second tooth.
–Micah started babbling. His first consonant, “ba-ba-ba-ba-ba”.
–First bath in the big tub…splashing and laughing the whole time.
–Crawled! Micah followed Asher back to his room.
–Pulled to a standing position.
–Said “ma-ma-ma-ma-ma”

July 2004
–Micah sat in grass for the first time.
–Daddy left for Mexico…almost two whole weeks w/o Daddy.
–Fourth of July parades.
–Started the “inchworm” to crawl around.
–Micah rode on the ski boat at Lake Moomaw.
–Played in the pool with Asher. Loved the water!
–Micah’s first LONG car ride. Eight hours to Uncle Alan & Aunt Sam’s house.
–First tooth!

June 2004
–Micah rolled the other way (from tummy to back).
–He sits up on his own now.
–First fever…no smiles that day.
–First time Daddy left on an overnight trip.
–Father’s Day fun!
–6 months appt. (16 lb. 4 oz./27 inches long.) Dr. Marsh called you thunder thighs.

May 2004
–4 month appt. He’s 14 lb. 7 oz., 26 inches long! (50% and 75%)
–Micah discovered his toes and plays with them all the time.
–Sooooo close to rolling over, but sitting up like crazy in his bouncy seat.
–Mother’s Day fun!
–We played “This Little Piggy” for the first time.
–Went to a nursing home and made all the residents smile.
–Rolled over!
–His first jeep ride…up front next to Daddy.
–Micah knows his name.

April 2004
–He met his great-grandparents, Nanny & Pappy, his great-Grandmom, and his great-aunt & uncle Louise & Larry. (Easter weekend)
–Sunny days full of playing outside.
–His first youth retreat
–Fell asleep dancing with Mommy
–Giggles galore!

March 2004
–Laughing–Micah laughed his first real belly laugh (10th).
–He’s ticklish!–Micah will now laugh when you tickle him. And he even laughs in anticipation when I walk my fingers up his belly (14th).
–Micah met his Aunt Sam & Uncle Alan who came for Daddy’s 30th birthday party (20th)
–First fever (25th)
–Bore weight on his legs–he LOVES to stand up! (28th)
