A Boy’s View of Daddy’s Love

Aug 25th, 2006 by angie | 0

Asher was drawing people the other day, and he drew a picture of Brian. Then he drew a big heart on his chest and said, “See Mommy, I drew Daddy’s heart. It’s so big because he loves me so much.” Sweet boy.

Praying For Audrey

Aug 22nd, 2006 by angie | 0

One day I was putting Audrey down for her nap, and she’s hit that stage where she doesn’t ever want me to leave her, so she was crying. I was up with her, standing and swaying, and trying to calm her down. I heard someone talking behind me & turned around. There he sat in the middle of his room and when he saw me, he quickly jumped back into his rocket ship saying, “I had to make sure the moon was safe.”

Wasps!

Aug 22nd, 2006 by angie | 0

We had a wasp in our house the other day, and Micah wanted to play with it. Crazy boy! I told him we couldn’t play with wasps because they might sting us. Micah sat there watched the wasp and said, “If I play with the wasp, he will sting my hand. Then he will take my finger outside and throw it over the deck. Then I can go outside and find my finger. I’ll put it back on my hand and it will be all better.” Oh, to be in his mind for 2 seconds!
